Bridal Hair Styles With Pearls

Pearls are natural, organic gems that come in a wide variety of colors and shapes, and they are the perfect addition to a bridal hairstyle. A bride may choose to wear a single real pearl in her hairdo, or she may look into realistic strands of glass pearls that can be wrapped around her head. Pearls can be easily incorporated into a number of bridal hair styles.
Updo With Pearl Strand
In the updo hair style, sweep your hair back into a bun. The bun may be entirely smooth or the ends of the hair can be left sticking out to frame the bride’s face. Wrap a strand of pearls around the base of the bun, and then secure it with bobby pins. The ends of the pearl strand can be tucked underneath the bun or left loose to dangle down the back of the bride’s neck.
Pearl-Headed Hairpins
For brides with short hair, pearl-headed hairpins can be a wonderful way to add some elegance to your her wedding attire. Pearl-headed hairpins may have a single large pearl at the closed end of the pin, or they might have two very short, delicate strands of pearls dangling from them. Work these pins into the hairline at the temple for a clean simple look, or use them as accessories in a more elaborate hairstyle.
Pearl Tiaras
Pearl tiaras can be stylish additions to hair that is going to be left loose for the ceremony. After your hair has been washed and blown dry, arrange your hair as you want it to fall. Spray a small amount of hairspray into your hair, focusing on the area around your face and at the top of your head. Place the pearl tiara into your hair, and then spray your hair again. Remember not to spray the tiara itself, as this can dull your pearls.
Pearl Hair Sticks
Hair sticks can come with single pearls attached to the end or strands of pearls that dangle and catch the light. They can be a decorative element that is added to any updo, or they can actually be the only support that you need. One way to incorporate a pearl hai rstick into your hairstyle is to create a normal bun and then to skewer it with the hair stick. Use several hair sticks for a more dramatic look.
Pearl Combs
Combs can be very easily incorporated into any style where the hair is being pulled back from the face. The chignon and the French twist are both styles that lend themselves very well to being worn with pearl combs. After you have swept up your hair and secured it, insert the combs either at the top of the head or a few inches back from the temples. Though combs are typically decorative unless they are meant to hold on the veil as well, they are usually sturdy enough to hold back bangs.
